Thank you, Stella Falconer - You Changed My Life

Thank you, Stella Falconer

Stella Falconer

Stella Falconer is my mum, and no Gratitude Project would be complete without a mention of mother.

My mum is my champion – she reads every single blog post I publish and emails me after every newsletter to tell me how much she enjoyed it. She never fails to be there with encouragement and wisdom whenever I need it.

Trips to visit usually involve piles of books and ideas and notes; oodles of gorgeous food; gallons of wine; and, because she is also an artist, lots and lots of drawing (she has awesome art materials and she lets me try them all out – thanks, mum!). I love that her cosy cottage in the countryside is my refuge from the madness of my life, and that she can always give me a place to hide.

The last time I went to see her, this song came on the radio, and it pretty much sums it up:

Thanks, mum, for absolutely everything. I couldn’t do any of it without you xxxxxx

You'll get a weekly email with all the latest from Eli Trier, including art, blog posts, inspiration and more.
